Be Inspirational is a nonprofit organization, located in southern California, we provide essential assistance to underserved communities throughout the U.S. Our mission is to ease burdens and improve lives by focusing on critical needs of disable children and adults with special needs by providing food, clothing, shelter, and transportation. Our ultimate goal is to reach and provide support to communities in any city throughout the nation where our help can be the greatest throughout the world.

Los Angeles Celebrates as It Hosts the 2025 Colin Matthew $50,000 Hand-Up Awards

Dr. Vinson Eugene Allen and his wife Dr. Connie Yu, founders of the Colin Matthew $50,000 Hand-Up Awards, hosted a sold-out event, with parking to match. The dynamic duo captivated and dazzled a packed audience with heartfelt stories, and lighthearted moments.

The energy was exciting as music headliner Club Nouveau ignited the crowd with an energetic performance that drew both attendees and celebrities onto the dance floor. Master of Ceremonies Dannon Green kept the crowd entertained with his comedy styles, while special guest Ernest Harden Jr., a passionate advocate for families with special needs, delivered a heartfelt speech on the importance of community support.

The evening also featured a memorable and humorous reunion between Harden (Marcus) and his former co-star from The Jeffersons Marla Gibbs (Florence), whose warm camaraderie delighted the audience.

The couple received humble recognitions from city officials and state representatives, including acknowledgments from the Office of Mayor Karen Bass, the Office of Laura Richardson, Councilwoman Bridget Lewis, the Office of Fiona….

Margarita Aunei-Stowers

Margarita founded Giv3 Our Time — a grassroots charity dedicated to feeding and supporting people experiencing homelessness. Today, the organisation runs six programs across South-East Queensland, providing hundreds of meals each week. Volunteers now step forward regularly, turning one woman’s survival story into a movement of compassion.

Captain Cedric Cleveland

Fire Captain Cedric Cleveland served the residents of California for 35 years, his dedication to protecting citizens was evident not only in his role as a firefighter, but also as a paramedic. Before retirement, Captain Cleveland focused on mentoring and recruitment initiatives throughout Los Angeles.

Armani Crews

A six-year-old named Armani Crews chose to feed the homeless back in 2017 instead of having a birthday party. Instead of a traditional celebration, she wanted to serve the same food that would be at her party to people experiencing homelessness in her community. Armani Crews a young lady with a big heart.

Colin Matthew Allen

Colin Matthew is unlike most kids his age, in his public life, Colin is seen handing out essentials to the homeless or passing out food and clothing during each holiday. The future leader takes pride in serving the community with his parents, Dr. Eugene Allen and Dr. Connie Yu Allen, owners of Dusk to Dawn Urgent Care.
